NEWS - 20th March 2018 - Farewell to Mrs Odell

Mrs Jackie Odell is one of our most long-standing members of staff, working to support the children in Foundation.  Sadly (for us) she has decided to retire at the end of term and so tomorrow will be her last day of service.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank her for year hard work and caring over many years at the school (and its predecessor school) and wish her well for a long and happy retirement.

NEWS - 26th February 2018 - Assembly theme of the week

This week's assembly theme is about being kind to others.  Children have been reminded that it is very important to be kind to others as it makes us feel good.  In particular they have been reminded that it is never ok to say mean things to each other (particularly racist comments) or to hurt each other.  They have also been told that 'games' that encourage children to hurt each other are not nice games to play.

NEWS - 8th February 2018 - February family update

A couple of reminders today - 1) children in Koala, Toucan and Gorilla classes will be having a non-uniform day tomorrow in recognition of their brilliant efforts on Lexia. All others classes will be as normal. 2) If you are looking to get a nursery place for your child in the next 18 months then please make sure that you have contacted us to reserve that place as we are filling up quickly. 3) Final parents evening tonight for those that haven't already been.

Please note that Fr Leonard Young has now stepped down as chair of governors and Ms Margot Davison has stepped down as vice-chair.  Until new governors are elected to these vacant positions Mr Thomas Mitchell is acting chair of governors and Mrs Louise May is acting vice-chair.  We anticipate that these roles will be filled substantively following the next governing body meeting which is due to take place on 5th February 2018.
